New Initiatives (Implemented)

                                                                                             Shramik Chaupal

Objective: Reaching the Unreachable:

These programmes are conducted to organize the campaign at the Shramik Chowk (Labour Market) to propagate different schemes of Central Govt. meant envisaged for Unorganised Workers. Programmes are conducted at their work place to boost their confidence that the government has due consideration to their problems as well as their participation in government schemes. Workers are encouraged to  enrol in e-Shram Portal as well as other social security schemes for Unorganised workers under Ministry of Labour & Employment Govt of India.

Medium of Intervention:

  1. Mass campaign through the help of Trade Unions/NGOs/Rural Volunteers/Community Resource persons.
  2. Interactive  Communication through Chart Sheet, Banner & ICE Materials.
Printed Leaflets on Government schemes (minimum 100) in Regional Languages to be distributed with number of Help desk (Enclosed Leaflets is to be translated into Regional languages)

                                                                                      Collaboration with DGFASLI

Collaboration is made with DGFASLI to conduct the special training programee for Contract Workers on safety at work-place. Under this collaboration, 01 training programme is already conducted at Mumbai in which around 80 participants were benefited.

 

New Initiative - In Process

RPL under Skill Development Activities with NSDC is in final process

   ILO- DTNBWED Cooperation under Decent Work Country Programme (DWCP)- Joint working group has been formed.
   Collaboration with DGMS for exploring avenues to conduct training programme on behavioural aspects of workers.
   Implementation of e-office for implementing e-governance.
