About Regional Directorate

Jamshedpur Regional Directorate is situated at city’s centre place Sakchi & is famous as Steel City, which was founded by Late Mr. J. N. Tata one of the India’s veteran industrialists in Sakchi village. The city is covered by an excellent industrial relation environmental due to extra ordinary mentoring of Late Mr. R. D. Tata & Bharat Ratna Mr. J. R. D. Tata. Societal environment of Jamshedpur is blessed by Lord Birsa Munda.

Regional Directorate was established in the year 1962 at Kadma area and shifted to Straight Mile Road, Sakchi in 1965. The Regional Directorate has witnessed the progressive guidelines from Late Mr. Russy Modi, Late Mr. Abdul Bari, Late Mr. V. G. Gopal and presently so many stalward trade union leaders are associated with DTNBWED activities namely Mr. Rakeshwar Pandey, Sri. P. N. Singh, Sri. Raghunath Pandey, Sri. Chandrabhan, Sri. Bijay Khan and many more.
