About Regional Directorate

This Regional Directorate is situated in the heart of pink city near Railway Station. Workers Education was started in Rajasthan in 1962 through a sub regionalcentre at Bhilwara, which was given full status of Regional Centre in 1965. Upto 31st March, 1974, whole Rajasthan was under the jurisdiction of Bhilwaracentre. This Regional Centre was later on shifted to Jaipur in 1974. In 1991, another Regional Directorate was opened in Jodhpur, which was later shifted to Udaipur in 2002. Since then Jaipur Regional Directorate has been organizing programmes in 19 districts of Rajasthan.
