About Regional Directorate

The Regional Directorate came into existence in the year 1972. Since then it is devoted for the cause of Welfare of the workers through Education; training & motivation. This Regional Directorates cover 12 district of the eastern part of Uttar Pradesh. There are some major industries of the Organized sector like Railways, Roadways (Transport) State owned power establishment, National Thermal Power Corporation Limited (NTPC), Bharat Heavy Electrical Limited (BHEL), Bharat Pumps and compressor Limited (BPCL), DLW, IFFCO, Indian Telephone Industries Limited, Northern Coal fields Limited, J.P. Cement Factory, Hindalco, Defence establishment existing in this Region. This Regional Directorate is organizing and conducting the programmes for the child labour and their parents successfully and effectively. With help of NCLP project This Regional Directorate also covers the topic HIV AIDS causes and consequences in every training programme for long term and short term duration.

Geographical Jurisdiction

This Regional Office covered 12 districts namely Allahabad, Kaushambi, Pratapgarh, Sultanpur, Amethi (Chatrapati Sahu Ji Maraj Nagar), Raebareilly, Bhadohi (Sant Ravidas Nagar), Jaunpur, Sonebhadra, Mirzapur, Chandauli, Varanasi.
