About Regional Directorate |
This Regional Directorate, Central Board for Workers Education, Muzaffapur, started on 14.8.1972. Concentration of Workers in our area is Organised Sector, Unorganised Sector, Rural Sector. In organized Sector we are covering Major industries like Indian Oil Corporation, Barauni Refinery, National Hydroelectric Rural Electrifiction, Sugar Mills, Railway – Sonpur Division, Katihar Division, Danapur Division, Samastipur Division, Bata India Ltd., Mc. Dowel, Coca Cola, National Highway Authority of India etc. As concerned regarding unorganized and Rural Sector we are generally conducting programmes for rural artisans, marginal farmers, Agricultural workers, Brick workers, Handloom, Powerloom, Khadi & Rural Industries, Small Scale Industries, Industrial Estate, Hasndicrafts, Sericulture, Beedi Industries, Health Workers ( Nurses, Matrons, Etc), Women Workers, Child Labour, Young Workers, Handicapped Workers, Civic & Sanitation Workers, Construction Workers Head Load Workers, Rickshaw Drivers. |
