About Regional Directorate

Regional Directorate at Vadodara was setup in 1968 and has operations in 14 Districts of the Western Region of Gujarat State, in which it organizes various training programs for organized sector, unorganized sectors and rural sectors. It is having various industries surrounding the districts like Vadodara, Anand, Bharuch, Surat, Navsari, Valsad, Chhota Udepur, Mahisagar, Panchmahal, Tapi, Narmada, Dahod, Dang, Nani Daman. Since the inception of this Regional Directorate, approx. 4250 programs conducted and more than 90000 workers were trained throughout the above jurisdictions under various schemes of the training programs. Today, various industries take benefit of Workers Education Scheme through organizing training programs in their industries. In all the 14 districts various NGOs are available and they are helpful to DTNBWED in organizing training programs for various categories of workers in unorganized sectors and rural sectors.
